KONSTANZ | SUMMER 2017
The film picked up the colors so well here. Memories of running back and forth to the lake and swimming out as far as we could.

MONSCHAU | SUMMER 2017
We all took a bus to this small town about two hours away, blasting music through someone's speaker and singing as loud as we could. I came to this cafe to journal and get orange juice.

DÜSSELDORF | SUMMER 2017
We bought fruits from the Carlsplatz market when we had nothing else to do between classes, we sat on the curb outside to talk before we had to leave.

DÜSSELDORF | SUMMER 2017
These girls were looking through the glass at the jewelry, dreaming and laughing with each other. I caught one of them off focus. I can't count how many times the Germans took me to here to the Altstadt (old town), we went during free class periods and after school. There's an ice cream shop in the back that was my favorite.

DÜSSELDORF | SUMMER 2017
My host family's kitchen was my favorite room in the apartment. We all ate breakfast together in the morning before class, and while they spoke in quick German I tried to understand them. They made wonderful vegan meals too.

DÜSSELDORF | SUMMER 2017
This was the day I arrived to Germany, and my host sisters took me to a beach nearby. We sat in the sun and I tried to keep from dazing off from my jet lag.

PARIS | SPRING 2017
Hayden took me to this cafe in Le Marais. His cigarette sat by his espresso most of the time, unlit, since he didn't have a lighter. There's something in the corner, is that a light leak of some kind or is it really just my finger?

PARIS | SPRING 2017
The streets of Paris are plastered with art posters promoting new galleries, newcomer bands and their shows, fashion statements, and photography. No one bothers to take the old ones down so they just keep growing on top of one another, leaving daydreams of past visions.
